The legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s Wayfarer parties stemming from their film, It Ends With Us, has been settled.
Terms of their agreement have not been shared but legal teams for both sides have issued a joint statement to media. It reads (via People):
“The end product – the movie It Ends With Us – is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life. Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors – and all survivors – is a goal that we stand behind.
We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognise concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard. We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments.
It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.”

The dispute first came to light in 2024 when Blake accused Justin and his production company, Wayfarer, of sexual harassment as well as a smear campaign. Justin’s team filed a countersuit claiming that Blake, her husband, filmmaker and actor Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist Leslie Sloane, were smearing him. Since then, Justin’s claims were dismissed as were a large portion of Blake’s claims.
Their settlement comes ahead of the parties’ trial date which was set for May.
