Daddy gang, more like mummy gang.
Alex Cooper, the host of Call Her Daddy, has announced she’s pregnant with her first child with husband Matt Kaplan.
The 31-year-old podcaster shared the news on social media alongside photos of her growing bump, captioned simply: “Our family”.
In the pictures, she’s wearing a white crop top and matching tracksuit pants, with her hand cradling her belly.
Kaplan, 42, has a hand on her leg, looking lovingly up at her as she laughs.
The pregnancy announcement has been flooded with comments from famous pals, former podcast guests and fans of Cooper.
“🥹🥹 Congratulations mama! Such a beautiful blessing ❤️❤️ ,” wrote Khloe Kardashian.

“YES YES YES YES YES YESSSSSS!!!!! So excited for you both😍😭🥹🤍💫,” commented Tay Lautner.
“🥹🥹🥹 so happy for you! Congratulations!,” replied Crishell Strause.
“So ready to Call Her Mommy! We’ve got lots to fill you in on,” replied the Frida Mom brand, who make a lot of parenting products.
The post has already received close to 100k likes and over 8,000 comments, with many of her followers so excited and happy for the big news.
On her Instagram stories she also shared a text post with the words, “Daddy gang, there’s something I’ve been waiting to share with you…” before the announcement.
In another she posted her bump with a bag of lollies on her lap.
“Honestly happy I can finally stop trying to hide the bump lol,” read the text on the post.
Cooper and Kaplan met on a Zoom call during the COVID-19 pandemic in July 2020.
Three years later they got engaged, and the pair went on to tie the knot in Riviera Maya, Mexico, on April 6, 2024.
The podcast host has been open about her thoughts on becoming a mother, and in a vulnerable episode last year, she got candid about pushing back her timeline.
In the June 2025 podcast, titled I’m Not Ready for a Baby Cooper said she and Kaplan had decided the summer prior to start trying for a baby.
She explained they had spoken about names, home renovations to prepare for kids and were really excited.
But when she went off birth control, Cooper said she started to experience “extreme vertigo and dizziness,” so they decided to “put a pause on getting pregnant.”
She also realised that she didn’t want to “slow down” during such a busy time in her career by having a baby.
For Cooper, she decided she needed “time to live a little more before I enter the next, beautiful chapter of my life” by having kids, and she wanted to make sure she’s “present” and “capable” when she becomes a mum.
Kapal was supportive of her feelings, and she said, “I know he’s going to be the most incredible father to our babies”.
Call Her Daddy is one of the biggest podcasts in the world, and in 2025, it was ranked as Spotify’s fourth-most popular podcast of the year.
Cooper has interviewed plenty of A-list guests like Kim Kardashian, former Vice President Kamala Harris, Hailey Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry, to name a few.
