Will There Be A Second Season of “Margo’s Got Money Troubles”? – CelebrityKind || Positive Celebrity News | Movies TV Music Books

If you can’t get enough of Margo Millet, her wild family and alllll her money troubles, we have some great news! Apple TV has announced season 2 of Margo’s Got Money Troubles is officially happening.

Star and executive producer Elle Fanning is just as excited about it as we are: “Embarking on the adventure of bringing Margo to the screen has been one of the greatest joys of my life. When I first read Rufi (Thorpe)’s stunning story, it felt wholly original and most importantly human, and then with David (E. Kelley)’s writing, along with our epic cast of heart-wrenching performances, it truly felt like we had something special.”

The series, which also stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, Nick Offerman and Thadea Graham, is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Rufi Thorpe and follows the comedic, heartwarming and, at times, rough journey of college dropout Margo, the daughter of an ex-Hooters waitress and ex-pro wrestler, who is just trying to get through life with a new baby, and a mounting pile of bills.

And yes, things really do get messy…

Elle adds, “Having the opportunity to bring more of Margo’s troubles, creativity, fearless spirit and authenticity to audiences with a second season, makes me incredibly happy and excited. I can promise everyone they’re in for a wild, messy, and beautiful ride.”

Creator, executive producer and writer David E. Kelley says he “fell in love with Rufi’s world and unpredictable characters” from day one. “It’s been rewarding to see audiences embrace this series. We can’t wait to continue this story with our partners at Apple TV and A24.”

Season one is currently available through the streaming service with the finale due to air on May 20.
