Teyana Taylor hit up the 2026 American Music Awards with her two daughters.
The entertainer was photographed on the red carpet outside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas alongside Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr., better known as Junie, and Rue Rose Shumpert, and the trio looked like they walked straight out of a fashion campaign.
Taylor wore a dramatic purple strapless gown with a structured bodice, a flowing skirt with a thigh-high slit, and a matching shawl draped around her arms. Meanwhile, Junie, 10, showed up in an all-denim look with red boots, while Rue Rose, 5, kept things cute in a pink floral dress, white cardigan, pink boots, and white-rimmed sunglasses.
During a red carpet interview with E! News, Teyana Taylor got a glowing fashion review from her daughters.
After jokingly asking Junie whether her outfit was “a ten out of ten,” her daughter wasted absolutely no time answering.
“Girl, it was more than a ten out of ten,” Junie said. “Clock it.”
Teyana later admitted her daughters are basically her in-house fashion team.
“Oh absolutely, you already see,” she told E! News when asked whether her daughters were following in her stylish footsteps. “I mean, these are my two biggest fashion critics. They keep me in check. They keep the outfits tea, as they would say.”
“You know, I’m really excited to always make them proud. I love when they love my outfits,” she added.
Rue also had a sweet moment during an interview with Embed from Getty Images">Variety, telling the outlet that her mom is “so pretty that she looks like she would win every award.”
Taylor shares both daughters with ex-husband Iman Shumpert. The former couple split in 2023 after nearly a decade together and have continued co-parenting their girls.
In addition to walking the carpet, Taylor also joined the AMAs performance lineup alongside Teddy Swims, Keith Urban, KATSEYE, BTS, Billy Idol, New Kids on the Block, and Karol G.
