Major Harris is officially a high school graduate.
The teenager celebrated the milestone this week as he received his diploma from Woodward Academy surrounded by family and friends.
During the ceremony, school officials read out several of Major’s honors and scholarships as he walked across the stage.
“Gold Eagle, Academic Honors, Savannah College of Art and Design, Academic Honors, Achievement Scholars, Student Recognition Scholarship,” the announcer said as Major accepted his diploma.
His mom, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, celebrated the moment on social media with a tribute to her youngest son.
“Big congratulations to my youngest son @majorpharris but biggest boss of the family. Who graduated with Honors today frm Woodward Academy,” she wrote. “When I tell u all 288 graduates graduated with scholarships. It was so amazing to witness! Major it has been one of the greatest moments to see u pull thru like we all knew u would.”

Tiny also reflected on how meaningful the moment would have been for Precious Harris.
“@preciousharris1913 would be overjoyed seeing her baby walk & with Honors. We celebrate u! We honor u for all your greatness & beautiful human u are inside & out!! Love u with all I got son! Here’s to you & your bright future ahead!! U make the family so proud!” she continued.

Major is headed to Savannah College of Art and Design in the fall. During high school, he also explored theater and took part in several stage productions.
Earlier this year, Tiny opened up about watching him perform and admitted she was surprised by how naturally he took to the stage.
“He’s such a natural. Nobody knew because he just started this. Seeing him up there doing his thing, he did so good. I was just so impressed,” she said. “He had this accent the whole time and he did so good. He was singing too, like eight songs. I was like, ‘Dang.’ It was crazy to see my baby in a whole new light.”
