The second-round series between the Montreal Canadiens and Buffalo Sabres got a lot more interesting Friday when the Habs dominated a road game to even the series at one game apiece. The statement win not only tied up the series, but also tied Buffalo and Montreal at 13-1 odds to win the Stanley Cup.
The winner of that series will face the Carolina Hurricanes, who finished off another sweep on Saturday and subsequently became the new Stanley Cup favorites at +155. The Colorado Avalanche fell back to +185 after dropping Game 3 to the Minnesota Wild (16-1).
The Vegas Golden Knights are a third-best +550 after taking back the series lead against the Anaheim Ducks (45-1).
