This week, nationwide rallies and vigils are protesting more than $1 trillion in healthcare cuts—to Medicaid, Medicare, public health and disease prevention programs, and hospitals—in H.R. 1, President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which Congress passed last year and was signed into law on July 4. The weeklong event is dubbed “Seven Days in June: Health Is Primary.”
