Nicole Kidman was hospitalised on the first day of filming her latest show, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, revealed her co-star Nick Offerman.
Speaking to People, the 55-year-old opened up about their first day of filming when the Aussie actress was due for her first appearance as former pro wrestler Lace on an intricate set.
Offerman explained that the scene was huge, taking place at a fan convention, required hundreds of extras, some body doubles to perform wrestling on behalf of the actors, and a huge set design that would only be up for one day.

In the morning, the cast and crew were told Kidman, 58, would not come in, as she was unwell, but later they were surprised to see the Aussie actress arrive on set.
“She was so pale, shaken. She just had the flu really so bad,” Offerman recalled.
Despite her sickness, “she showed up and made sure that we got every shot of her, total superhero style, did everything we needed to so that we did not lose one scrap of what we needed for her character.”

The Parks and Recreation actor shared that when she was done with her work for the day, she was taken to the hospital for an IV.
Before she left he told her, “I already admired you so much, but this is how you get to be Nicole Kidman, is you show up so that your show doesn’t lose a minute of your value.
“It was so generous. It was astonishing.”
Kidman serves as an executive producer on the project, alongside starring in a limited role in the comedy.
Margo’s Got Money Troubles centers on Margo, played by Elle Fanning, who becomes pregnant by her junior college English professor and turns to OnlyFans to support herself.
After reconnecting with her estranged father, played by Offerman, who offers advice from his former pro-wrestling days, she achieves success on the platform.
Kidman is booked and busy this year, also starring in crime drama Scarpetta and anticipating the release of her new film, Practical Magic 2, with Sandra Bullock.

It seems that the Aussie actress has buried herself in her work amid her recent divorce from singer Keith Urban.
The pair shocked the world when they announced their separation and intention to file for divorce in September 2025, with the filing becoming official on January 6, 2026.
