Netflix VP of Communications Emily Feingold Exiting

Emily Feingold, who has been at Netflix since 2017, most recently as VP of Communications, is departing the streamer.

“Emily has been a dedicated member of the Netflix team for eight years, making meaningful contributions throughout her tenure. We’re deeply grateful for all she has done for our team and for the company, and we wish her every success in her future endeavors,” said Dani Dudeck, Chief Communications Officer in a statement.

Feingold first joined Netflix as part of the film leadership team as the OTT service was rapidly expanding its original film programming. As the business grew, so did her oversee; ultimately handling all Netflix communications for US and Canada.

More recently, Feingold’s role shifted to a more focused, US and Canada content comms leadership role as the team recently brought on new leadership including Dudeck and new VP of Global Corporate Communications, Kelly Pakula. Within the Corp team, Netflix recently announced two new additional leads including Senior Director of Product & Technology Comms Malorie Lucich and Head of U.S. Policy Comms and External Affairs, Caitlin Conant, based in DC.

Feingold handled comms during seismic moments for Netflix, including the streamer’s most recent pursuit of Warner Bros, the streamer’s embrace of theatrical, both with limited releases such as Oscar winning Roma and The Irishman, and their first No. 1 box office opener, K-Pop Demon Hunters, and their upcoming first wide release in Greta Gerwig’s Narnia. In addition, Feingold steered comms for Netflix during their foray into advertising, gaming and live events.

Prior to Netflix, Emily served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Communications at Andell, Inc., a private investment firm.

She previously spent 13 years in New York, including Vice President of Corporate Communications roles at Ralph Lauren and The Weinstein Company.  Emily began her career in Washington, D.C., working at the White House during the Clinton administration.
