Zoë Kravitz arrived on the Met Gala red carpet with a brand-new accessory – but she was keeping it well hidden.
Kravitz, 37, walked the event just weeks after being spotted with a massive rock on her ring finger, with People later confirming she and Harry Styles, 32, were engaged.
But anyone hoping for a closer look at the sparkler was left disappointed, as Kravitz’s look seemed crafted specifically to stop that happening.

She donned a black lace Saint Laurent dress with a structural waist that simulated pockets, which she strategically used to hide her left hand.
The look was completed with an updo, Jessica McCormack jewellery, the same designer as her ring, and Romy black pumps, according to Vogue.
She walked the carpet solo and with Yves Saint Laurent designer Anthony Vaccarello.

Kravitz and Styles have been together for eight months, with the news of their engagement coming as quite a surprise.
Styles did not join her at the event, having only attended once in 2019.
She had shown off the massive 9-carat rock just a day earlier, arriving at Anna Wintour’s pre-Met Gala dinner with the sparkler on display.
She hinted at her lace look with a full Saint Laurent outfit, featuring fur-collared cardigan and a sheer floral yellow skirt.
Kravitz was first seen wearing her ring on April 19, again being photographed by paparazzi throughout late April before confirmation came via People on April 27.
She and Styles were first linked in August 2025 when they were spotted walking arm in arm in Rome.
Celebrity gossip page Deuxmoi later reported Kravitz and Styles had shared a kiss at London hotspot Rita’s the week prior.
A separate source told People they had been “spending time [together]” during Kravitz’s press run for Caught Stealing.
Since then, they have been seen around the world together including London and New York, with People reporting she will join him on his forthcoming Together, Together tour whenever possible.
