Lil Durk’s oldest son is celebrating a big milestone.
Angelo Banks, the rapper’s 14-year-old son, recently graduated from eighth grade and is officially headed to high school.
His mom, Nicole “Nikki” Covone, shared photos from the celebration on Instagram Stories, giving followers a look at the special day. In one photo, Angelo posed in a white Louis Vuitton T-shirt, ripped jeans, and red sneakers while standing outside with a matching red cap turned backward.
“I’m so proud of you son,” Nikki wrote across the photo. “High school tho. I love you so much.”
Other pictures showed Angelo posing with his siblings and spending time with family members, including Lil Durk’s longtime partner, India Royale, and their daughter Willow.
The family celebration comes as many fans continue asking questions about Lil Durk’s children and blended family following the rapper’s recent legal troubles.
So, how many kids does Lil Durk have?
The Chicago rapper is father to seven biological children: Angelo Banks, Bella Banks, Zayden Banks, Romeo Banks, Du’mier Banks, Skylar Banks, and Willow Banks. He also helps raise India Royale’s daughter, Skylar, from a previous relationship, whom fans often refer to as “Big Sky” to avoid confusion with his biological daughter, Skylar “Little Sky.”
Durk first became a father in 2011 when he and Nicole Covone welcomed Angelo Banks. Their daughter Bella Banks was born two years later in 2013.
He later welcomed several more children over the years. In 2018, he and India Royale welcomed their daughter Willow Banks together. Durk also helps care for his late brother OTF DThang’s two children following his death in 2021.
The rapper previously opened up about fatherhood during a Father’s Day celebration with all of his children and bonus children.
“I got all my kids for Father’s Day,” he wrote on Instagram Stories at the time. “This is what a definition of a man is.”
Lil Durk is currently in federal custody following his 2024 arrest on federal murder-for-hire charges.
