Kellie Finlayson troll: Kellie Finlayson hits back at vile troll accusing her of being a ‘fraud’ amid her stage four cancer diagnosis

Kellie Finlayson, the wife of AFL star Jeremy Finlayson, has been forced to hit back at a cruel troll who accused her of being a “fraud” and “scamming the system” amid her stage four cancer fight.

”I don’t want to give him the airtime he craves but is there anyone on here that wants to help me find this guy’s workplace?” she wrote in her Instagram story, alongside a snippet of the man’s message and his account name, which nine.com.au has omitted.

“Still scamming the system. Terminal stage four, six years ago. Six years later still getting free s–t. Still trying to be famous after ya flop boyfriend lost his career lol,” the troll claimed.

“You’re a fraud and a charlatan and you deserve Jail!”

Finlayson shared another story, writing: “Can someone tell my oncologist that I’m just joking? He keeps making me do chemo!!”

Finlayson, 30, has stage four bowel cancer that has metastasised in her lungs, and was given a 12-month prognosis when she was diagnosed.

Just last month, Finlayson spoke about her diagnosis to nine.com.au, recalling the moment she received the news at the age of 25 just months after giving birth.

She is throwing her support behind Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea for Cancer Council Australia.

“I’ve wiped most of it, which I guess is a trauma response,” she says about the moment she got diagnosed.

“I don’t remember a hell of a lot [of that day]. I remember getting the news and then being home, which is kind of scary.

“Lucky I wasn’t driving, because I wouldn’t have remembered getting home.”

She recently marked her 30th birthday in December.

“Thirty isn’t something that I should have seen, which is crazy, but given I was diagnosed at 25 this wasn’t something that was considered part of my future,” she says.

“So, obviously, hitting that milestone was wild … I started treatment on my 26th birthday.”
