Joie Chavis and Shad “Bow Wow” Moss are celebrating their daughter Shai Moss as she turns 15 today.
Chavis kicked off the birthday festivities over the weekend with a private dinner for Shai.
The mom of three posted photos from the dinner on Instagram, including several of Shai posing in a yellow dress.
“My beautiful, smart, and kind girl. I cant believe my baby is 15. She the birthday all day everyday. Love you to infinity princess @_shaimoss,” Chavis wrote.
The dinner setup featured a long table decorated with pink and white flowers, clear balloons, candles, and custom menus that read, “Shai’s Menu.”
Guests were served a dinner spread that included calamari and shrimp, wagyu cheesesteak bites, Chilean sea bass, filet mignon, rigatoni alla vodka, lobster mac and cheese, truffle tallow parmesan fries, and vanilla cake with cookies and cream.
Bow Wow also made sure to spoil his daughter on her actual birthday.
The rapper and actor shared that Shai thought he was still in Memphis because of his tour schedule. Instead, he left after his show and took his tour bus to Dallas so he could surprise her in person.
In a video posted to his Instagram, Shai looked stunned when her father walked in.
“The look on @_shaimoss face says it all. she thought i was still in memphis because of tour NOPE! Took my tour bus to Dallas right after the show last night and welp … HERES DAD! happy 15th Bday ❤️,” he wrote.
Bow Wow later gave fans a look at some of Shai’s birthday gifts, which included two Balenciaga bags, new boots, and a bracelet. He also joked about how much his daughter keeps him spending.
“THIS IS WHY IM SINGLE,” he wrote over a photo of Shai holding the bags. “SHE STAYS IN MY WALLET.”
