Jason Statham and his fiancée Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have reportedly spent £25 million on a beachfront ‘forever home’
The actor – who has starred in The Transporter and Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw – and his model and businesswoman partner, known for her role in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, are said to have made the huge purchase as they apparently continue their shift towards a quieter life in the UK.
Jason, 58, and Rosie, 39, who have children Oscar, eight, and Isabella, four, have reportedly purchased the six-bedroom property in the south of England for £20 million and are now planning to spend a further £5 million on renovations, according to The Sun.
The estate reportedly spans 20 acres and includes a pool, boating lake and wild swimming pond.
Jason and Rosie’s reported move follows the couple’s decision to sell their £14 million Malibu beach house in 2020 and relocate permanently to Britain.
Rosie previously told Hello! the family, who also own homes in London and Cornwall, were seeking a slower pace of life.
Speaking about their lifestyle change, Rosie said: “There’s an incredible dressage school around the corner” – adding: “I’ve been dreaming of this since I left home. It will be mud and kids climbing trees. London on the weekends can feel very destination-driven. I want peace.”
Jason, widely recognised for high-octane roles in the Fast and Furious franchise alongside Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel, has remained a dominant figure in action cinema, while Rosie has balanced modelling with business ventures including her beauty brand and fashion collaborations.
The pair, who have been together since 2010 and got engaged in 2016, have maintained a relatively private family life despite their high profiles.
Rosie has also spoken about the personal changes brought by motherhood.
In an interview with Net-A-Porter’s PORTER magazine in 2021, she said: “I just remember feeling like the rug was pulled out from underneath me.”
She added: “I’d had all these years of being really independent, being able to come and go as I wished, being self-employed to a degree, calling the shots, and then suddenly having (something) that really anchored me to home life.”
Jason and Rosie have previously emphasised marriage is not an immediate priority.
Rosie told Entertainment Tonight: “We’re looking forward to that time. It’s also not a huge priority for us; we’re so happy.” She added: “I think it will be fun to do it when the baby’s (Jack) grown up a bit and he can be involved in the wedding.”
Rosie has also credited Jason with influencing her taste in interiors, saying: “Jason has the most impeccable taste. He taught me so much about architecture and furniture. He’ll say it’s been a nightmare. I love the interiors.”
