So you binged Meghan’s new lifestyle series on Netflix, With Love, Meghan, and now you want to make her delicious – and ridiculously-easy – one-pot pasta? I’ve got you!
First of all, a one-pot anything is a dream for time-poor cooks everywhere because it usually equates to easy peasy. And it means much less washing up too. Add to that the fact that Meghan’s recipe is made with simple ingredients you’ve probably already got in the fridge or pantry – cherry tomatoes, garlic, lemon and spaghetti – this really is perfect for a quick, comforting meal.
Now, here’s the thing: Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, hasn’t released an exact pasta recipe. Neither has Netflix, though they do share a bunch of her recipes from the series on their Tudum page, including that Honey Lemon Layer Cake. What I share with you below is my version of Meghan’s one-pot pasta, going by the ingredients we see in her series. Check it out and let me know if you make it!
Meghan’s One-Pot Pasta Recipe
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 2 to 3 punnets of cherry tomatoes (the more tomatoes, the sweeter this will be!)
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 2 tbp olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 1 pack of dry spaghetti
- 1 lemon zested
- 3 cups water
- 1 bunch of chopped greens (Meghan uses Swiss chard and rocket)
- Grated parmesan cheese

Method:
- Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place in a large pan with garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper. Leave on medium heat.
- Add the full pack of dry spaghetti.
- Add zest of one lemon.
- Add 3 cups water or fill pan until spaghetti is just submerged.
- Cover with lid, bring to the boil and leave on medium heat for a further few minutes.
- Add greens and parmesan.
- Mix through – and enjoy!
