GRAMMY-winning artist Olivia Rodrigo has announced her inaugural Daisy Chain Fields music festival with an all-women lineup, and with all net proceeds going to nonprofits and groups advocating for women and girls. How cool is that?

In a post on Instagram, Liv said, “I’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and I am so ecstatic it’s finally coming true!!”

The festival is inspired by Lilith Fair, an event from the 90s created by Sarah McLachlan. 

Olivia added, “the lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. I firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that.”

Who is playing at Daisy Chain Fields?

The artists announced so far include Bikini Kill, Chappell Roan, Die Spitz, Doechii, Eli, Garbage, KATSEYE, Mitski, Not For Radio, Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri, Santigold and the Breeders with special guests Karen O, Stevie Nicks and… Sarah McLachlan!

 

When and where is Daisy Chain Fields happening?

The special event is taking place on August 29 in Irvine, California.

 

How do you get tickets to Daisy Chain Fields?

To score tickets to Daisy Chain Fields, you need to register for a presale passcode on their official website. The presale then begins on June 24 at 10.00 a.m. PT.

Tickets range between $250 for general admission to $1,250 for pit seating.

 

Which charities benefit from the festival?

The organisations which will benefit from the festival include Planned Parenthood which advocates for women and girls’ reproductive rights and sexual health, Black Mamas Matter Alliance which supports Black women through pregnancy and postpartum, the Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health which focuses on the wellbeing of indigenous communities, and many more.
