David Beckham has celebrated another birthday, and once again it seems that his eldest son Brooklyn Beckham has chosen to snub it.

The sporting legend took to Instagram to thank those who have sent wishes and appreciate his “family” alongside a carousel of images to mark turning 51.

“I feel very lucky & blessed to have had a very special day today being spoilt by my wife, kids, family and friends from the moment I opened my eyes till now and I just want to say thank you and I love you all so much 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 @victoriabeckham & my beautiful family thank you 🩷,” he wrote.

The two images he shared are of him blowing the candles out on a cake as a little boy, and then him now on his 51st doing the same thing.

While Victoria and their children Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21 and Harper, 14, rushed to social media to share well wishes for David on his special day.

The former Spice Girl shared two posts, one which included a snap of him wearing red speedos on a superyacht among other snaps of their life together and a touching message.

“You are our world, our everything. We love you so much!!! Happy birthday to the best husband, daddy, son, brother, and friend. To the kindest most generous soul. We will spoil you all day!!!! Nobody deserves it more than you xxx,” she wrote

She shared another clip on Instagram of David with his birthday present, new chickens for their garden.

Meanwhile, the other kids shared posts for their famous dad on their Instagram Stories, all wishing him a happy birthday.

Brooklyn, 27, has remained quiet, further fuelling that despite attempts to put out an olive branch from David and Victoria, their feud is continuing.

The silence from the aspiring chef comes just days after Victoria publicly addressed the ongoing drama between them for the first time.

“I think that we’ve always… We love our children so much. We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be,” she said.

“And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”

The significance of Brooklyn missing another of his dad’s birthdays is big.

The hot sauce founder and wife Nicola Peltz Beckham both skipped David’s milestone 50th celebrations last May.

In the months since there were rumours circulating of a family feud, which Brooklyn confirmed in a blistering six-page statement he released on social media in January.

Brooklyn made several claims about his parents, from allegations of what really happened on his wedding day with Nicola to claims they controlled him and “performative social media posts.”

In the months since the scathing takedown of his family, Brooklyn has not said anymore, but appears to have blocked them all on social media.

Reports have also emerged that Brooklyn and Nicola have engaged lawyers to tell his parents the only way they will communicate is through them.

Despite the legal letter, David and Victoria have both sent public messages to their son, including social media posts to wish him a happy birthday in March.
