EXCLUSIVE: Issa Rae, Deniese Davis, and Talitha Watkins’ ColorCreative has hired Trey Witter as Manager/Producer.
Witter will report to ColorCreative President Talitha Watkins.
In his new role, he will continue the work of championing writers, directors, and multi-hyphenate talent.

Witter brings a wealth of management, production, and entertainment law expertise to ColorCreative’s talent roster.
An accomplished manager, producer, and licensed entertainment attorney, Witter specializes in representing writers, directors, actors, and multi-hyphenate talent across both film and television. Witter’s current roster includes both rising and established creators such as Vic Mensa, Sheldon Candis, Rell Battle, Gianfranco Fernandez Ruiz, and Scott Lazer. Before joining ColorCreative, he built his career at 3 Arts Entertainment, Authentic Talent & Literary Management, and Scott Rudin Productions, where he developed a reputation for shepherding boundary-pushing storytellers.
ColorCreative recently produced the Tristar Pictures release, One of Them Days, which was the No. 1 movie at the box office in January 2025 followed by being the No. 1 movie on Netflix on its streaming release in April.
