Paul Walker‘s daughter Meadow is keeping his legacy alive, making a surprise appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.
The 27-year-old was there to celebrate 25 years since the original Fast and the Furious film took the action world by storm, creating one of the most popular movie franchises in history.
She reunited with her late father’s castmates including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster for a photocall ahead of a midnight screening of the movie.
The group were there to not only celebrate the original film, which was released on June 22, 2001, but also the many sequels and spinoffs that came from it.
Meadow and Diesel embraced with a hug before he joined the rest of the cast for photos.
As the cameras flashed around them, Diesel wrapped his arm around Meadow’s shoulders, keeping her close.
She wore a black blazer paired with a heavily embellished Celine belt for the occasion, while Diesel stuck to his signature style, donning a black T-shirt paired with white trousers.

Rodriguez wore a loose button up shirt, paired with matching pants that gave an effortless vibe, while Brewster slipped into a pinstripe style suit that featured a corset top and wide leg pants.
Meadow’s appearance at the photocall was a special one, honouring her dad’s legacy.
Walker died in 2013 at the age of 40, when he was in the passenger seat of a Porsche Carrera GT, driven by a racing team partner, that crashed into a light pole in Valencia, California.
He and his friend Roger Rodas, 38, died in the accident on November 30. They had just left a nearby charity event.
Walker starred in The Fast and the Furious and the sequels until Furious 7, which was released in 2015.
The actor had shot a majority of the film before his death, but the movie was finished after his death.
Meadow has spent a lot of time with her late father’s castmates over the years, particularly Diesel, who she counts as her godfather.
She also made an appearance in the 2023 sequel, Fast X.
A recent press release from the Cannes Film Festival notes that the 10 existing “record-smashing” Fast & Furious films “have stoked passion in an ever-expanding audience and have earned more than $7 billion U.S. at the worldwide box office.”
It also calls the franchise stars “one the most thrilling and diverse casts of any major studio film series.”
Universal Pictures’ Fast Forever, the eleventh installment featuring the core Fast & Furious cast, is scheduled to hit cinemas on March 17, 2028.
