Victoria Beckham has offered a fresh olive branch to son Brooklyn Beckham amid the family’s ongoing rift.
The mother-of-four said she and David Beckham are proud of all of their children and even told a story about her eldest son trying his hand at football before finding it wasn’t for him.
Victoria’s comments came after the fashion designer revealed daughter Harper had inspired a new product, as she spruiked her beauty range in an interview with The Sunday Times Style.
“I think that there’s a big difference between supporting children with what they want to do and forcing them,” she told host of The Beauty Desk, Sarah Jossel.
“And all we’ve ever done with any of the children is really support them, encourage them and and help them and individually they’ve all found what they love, what their passion [is], what their sense of purpose is.”
Victoria said “there was no pressure” for their sons to follow in their famous father’s footsteps and there isn’t for their daughter to follow in hers either.
“When the three boys used to play football, one-by-one they decided that that wasn’t for them and that’s okay,” the former Spice Girl recalled.

“That’s all you can do. I just want them to feel fulfilled.
“I love how driven they all are … and when I look at the kids, they all want to go into really quite different industries, but they’re not afraid of hard work either … We’re very proud of all of them.”
Victoria says the kids all know they’re “in a very fortunate position” and their manners is more important than their CV, to her and David.
“The nicest compliment that I ever get is any anytime anybody meets any of our children, they say how sweet, kind, and polite they are,” the mum-of-four gushed.

The fashion designer has never made any specific comments about Brooklyn following his scathing statement about his family earlier this year.
Across a blistering six page Instagram Story statement, Brooklyn accused his parents of trying to monetise him since he was a baby and claimed their sense of family was only for Brand-Beckham purposes.
He also accused his mum of dancing inappropriately with him at his wedding to Nicola Peltz, a relationship he also claimed his parents tried to break up before the big day.
After trying his hand at photography, Brooklyn’s gone on to become a YouTube chef and just launched a hot sauce range.
His younger brothers Cruz, 21, and Romeo, 23, are following in mum and dad’s footsteps respectively, with Cruz a musician and Romeo a footballer.
Harper, 14, is still at high school but features on her parents social media doing their make-up from time-to-time, suggesting she could also end up in the beauty biz like her mum.
