Louise Thompson has branded Alex Cooper a thief – warning her that “karma is a b****”.
Louise Thompson has hit out at Call Her Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper
The former Made in Chelsea star found herself at the centre of a growing celebrity feud after claiming that the Call Her Daddy host “stole” the concept and title of her podcast, Unwell.
Thompson, who rose to fame on the reality series set in London’s King’s Road social scene – alongside her younger brother Sam Thompson, Jamie Laing, Binky Felstead, Lucy Watson, Alex Mytton, Millie Mackintosh, Spencer Matthews – made the allegations in a TikTok video where she appeared to address what she described as a long-held frustration.
She said: “I was just on Instagram, I shouldn’t be doom scrolling on my way home, and I saw a Bloomberg business post that is essentially a takedown of Unwell, which is the podcast production company set up by Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper and her husband.
“So there have been claims they’ve been treating staff badly, they have been shouting, they’ve been disrespecting people and obviously there’s been this very public feud that Alex Cooper has had with Alix Earle.
“I’m just gonna say something, karma is a b****. Here’s a little story that none of you guys know, so I had a meeting when I was peak unwellness shall I say, a couple of years ago with an exec that come from the US who worked with a big talent agency about doing a podcast with us.”
Louise claims she was not in the right frame of mind at the time to accept the meeting.
Thompson faced severe, long-term health battles following a traumatic childbirth in 2021, including PTSD, chronic ulcerative colitis, and a lupus diagnosis. After a near-death experience, she had a life-saving stoma bag fitted in 2024 to manage her bowel condition, and now advocates for awareness regarding both mental and physical health.
She added: “I thought it would be a really clever play on what I’ve been through to call this new business and this new project or podcast venture, Unwell or Unwellness. I have it written in my list of notes that I wrote years ago when I was recovering early doors.
“Then I noticed four or five months later, she announces that her entire podcast thing is going to be called Unwellness and I think it’s just a little bit too suspicious that we both had exactly the same name idea, especially given that I had the conversation with people who are a part of her overall management team.”
The reality star has son Leo-Hunter, four, with her fiancé of several years, Ryan Libbey. Following a traumatic birth that left her with severe health complications, she is unable to safely carry another child. She is currently pursuing surrogacy and undergoing fertility treatment to expand her family.
With her issues to concentrate on, Louise branded Alex’s similar podcast as “the highest form of flattery”.
She said: “What are they saying? Copying is the highest form of flattery.”

Cooper, 31, host of global hit podcast Call Her Daddy, founded the Unwell brand in 2023, expanding it into wellness products and media production.
The term “Unwell” has previously featured in Call Her Daddy episodes, where Cooper and former co-host Sofia Franklyn used it to describe being hungover.
