Dickerson noted that Urban, 58, ”seemed in good spirits”.

“He’s always been focused on music, and so I think he’s just kind of doubling down on that, and it’s just beautiful,” the singer said.

“I can’t wait to hear what comes out of it.”

Urban and Kidman shocked the world when they announced their intention to divorce in September 2025 after almost 20 years of marriage, finalising the proceedings in January 2026.

The pair both agreed to a parenting plan for their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15.

They also waived their rights to spousal and child support.

Kidman recently spoke about the split publicly for the first time.

The 58-year-old Australian actress sat down with Variety for a wide-ranging interview and while she spoke about the Practical Magic sequel and Prime Video series Scarpetta, she also addressed her personal life.

“I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good,” the actress told the publication when asked if she was “doing all right” in the months following their split.

“What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that.

“Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect. I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family’, and that’s what we’ll continue to be.”
