British actor Jude Law has been a fixture of our movie screens for 30 years. In that time, he married twice, had a broken engagement to former It girl Sienna Miller and welcomed seven children with four women.
Just this week, Law unwittingly became embroiled in a high-profile tiff with Chappell Roan after one of his children was reportedly verbally accosted by a security guard who worked for the US singer-songwriter while out with her mum.

David Jude Heyworth Law was born on December 19, 1972, in London.
He joined the National Youth Music Theatre at 15 and at 17 he dropped out of school to pursue an acting career, appearing in a 1994 West End production of Les Parents terribles.
The following year, he joined the play’s Broadway production, earning a Tony Award nomination for best supporting actor.
This led to TV roles and his first lead film role in the 1994 movie Shopping.

Sadie Frost – three children
It was while on set that Law fell for his co-star Sadie Frost, who was seven years his senior. At the time, she was married to Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp, with whom she shared a son Finlay.
Frost admitted in her autobiography Crazy Days that she pursued Law. She and Kemp split and finalised their divorce in 1995.
A year later, Law and Frost welcomed their first child together, son Rafferty.
They married in September 1997 – just as Law’s star was rising.
In 1999, he appeared in The Talented Mr Ripley, which earned him the BAFTA for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations.
He and Frost divided their time between their homes in London – where they were members of the so-called Primrose Hill set, and the US, where their second child, daughter Iris, was born in 2000.
They welcomed their third child, Rudy, in 2002, but within months their marriage was over. They separated in January 2003, with Frost citing the actor’s “unreasonable behaviour” as grounds for their divorce, which was finalised later that year.
Rafferty Law
Rafferty, known as Raff, was born in London on October 6, 1996. After completing his schooling in England, he started modelling, appearing on the runway for DKNY in 2014 and later working for Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino.
He is also a musician and has been a member of the band Outer Stella Overdrive since 2018.
In 2021, he made his feature film debut in Twist and later starred in the 2024 Apple TV+ series Masters of the Air.
Raff, now 29, has an uncanny resemblance to his famous dad, who has been supportive of his career, without being pushy.
Raff told GQ in 2021, “He’s just happy to see me becoming a young man that he’s proud to call his son”.
Iris Law
Iris Tallulah Elizabeth was born on October 25, 2000, in Santa Monica California. Her godmother is Kate Moss.
When she was two-years-old, she became part of a police investigation after she swallowed part of an ecstasy tablet during a children’s party at a West End club.
Iris was three when her parents divorced.
Like her older brother, she completed her schooling in the UK then attended university where she studied experimental textile design.
In 2017, she was named a Burberry Beauty ambassador.
Two years later, she signed with IMG Models. Since then, she has walked the runway for Versace, Roberto Cavalli and Missoni
In 2021, she became Dior Beauty’s UK ambassador and was pictured front row at the spring/summer 2022 show in Paris.
Then in 2025, she made her debut as a Victoria’s Secret Angel at the lingerie brand’s famed fashion show.
Like her parents and older brother, she had tried her hand at acting, taking classes and getting her dad’s help with audition tapes.
“I tape [auditions] with my dad. He gives me great tips,” she told the Evening Standard in 2021.
She appeared in the 2021 film I’ve Been Trying to Tell You and the 2022 Hulu miniseries Pistol.
Law, now 25, is no stranger to the red carpet, attending major events such as the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, that year’s Brit Awards and the 2024 Met Gala.
Rudy Law
Rudy Indiana Otis Law was born on September 10, 2002, in London, just four months before his parents separated.
Frost told This Is London in 2008 that despite separating when the children were so young, they were “bringing up our children the best we possibly can”.
“We have our little community at home how we like to live.
“It’s so nice. And their father is around a lot of the time as well, being very supportive.”
Rudy has dipped his toe into acting. In 2013, he had a role in the short film Dotty, starring his mother.
Then in 2023, he played Alex in another short film, Into The Pass.
In 2024, Rudy was spotted with his dad at the Brisbane International tennis tournament. Law was in Australia to film a movie.
Now 23, his Instagram account is peppered with trips away and nights out with his friends, as well as the occasional modelling shot.
Sienna Miller and the nanny
Law was in the midst of his messy divorce from Frost when he met Sienna Miller on the set of the 2004 film Alfie.
The two fell in love and became engaged on Christmas Day, 2004.
But just five months later, reports emerged that Law had cheated on Miller with his children’s nanny, Daisy Wright. He later admitted as such and publicly apologised to his fiancee.
They split up in November 2006, reunited in 2009 and eventually called it quits in 2011, having never married or had children together.
Sophia Law
While he and Miller were apart, he met US swimsuit model Samantha Burke in a New York nightclub in 2009 while filming Sherlock Holmes.
They went on a few dates and had already split when she learned she was expecting a child. Law confirmed the news in a statement after media reports emerged.
“Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the [US] fall of this year,” the actor’s rep said.
“Mr Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life.”
Burke’s lawyer told People ahead of the birth that Law had been “responsive and supportive throughout the relationship and pregnancy”.
Burke’s rep later announced Sophia Law was born on September 22, 2009.
“Samantha Burke is overwhelmed with joy at the arrival of her beautiful and healthy baby girl, Sophia,” she said. “The baby and mum are doing wonderful.”
Law reportedly met his daughter for the first time in Miami in early 2010, when she was five months old, but it is not known how often he sees Sophia, who lives with her mother in the US.
Ada Law
Law reportedly met Irish singer-songwriter and television personality Cat Cavelli, whose real name is Catherine Harding, in 2014 in New York.
“We met at a bar in Soho and hit it off,” she told the Irish Mirror in May 2015.
The couple broke up after seven months, by which time Harding was pregnant.
“I didn’t plan to have a baby. It just happened,” she said.
A rep for Law confirmed he was going to be a dad again.
“I can confirm that Jude Law and Catherine Harding are expecting a child together… Whilst they are no longer in a relationship, they are both wholeheartedly committed to raising their child.”
A rep for Law also confirmed Ada’s birth on March 15, 2015.
“I can confirm the arrival of Jude Law and Catherine Harding’s daughter. Both are delighted and continue to ask that their privacy and that of their child be respected.”
Harding told the Irish Mirror Law visited soon after the birth and was a doting dad.
“She looks like Jude massively, she doesn’t look like me,” she told the outlet.

Harding started dating Brazilian footballer Jorginho in 2019. They welcomed a son in 2020 and married in 2025 in Lake Como, Italy.
Earlier this week, Jorginho took to Instagram to accuse singer Chappell Roan’s security guard of speaking aggressively to Harding and his stepdaughter, who was reduced to tears, while both parties were staying at a hotel.
Harding had taken her daughter to the Brazilian city of São Paulo to see the star perform at the Lollapalooza music festival and the incident reportedly occurred after the little girl glanced at the singer while walking past her table during breakfast.
Phillipa Coan – two children
Law reportedly first met British-born psychologist Phillipa Coan in 2015 through mutual friends.
They married in a surprise and very low-key wedding in London in April 2019, and have since welcomed two children, whose sex or names have never been revealed.
Law confirmed he and Coan were parents during a September 2020 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon after he was asked how he filled in time during the COVID lockdown.
“I’ve been gardening. Oh! And on top of that, I had a baby. So there you go,” he said.
They reportedly welcomed their second child sometime in 2023. A GQ story in 2024 confirmed they had two children and that his wife and youngest children travel to wherever he is working, including Australia.
The family of four was spotted at Sydney Airport in February 2024 when he was here making the movie Eden.
Both Raff and Iris joined Coan to watch on as Law received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2024.
