Sex and the City star Jason Lewis has resurfaced on social media after taking a three-year break.
The American actor, 54, known for playing Samantha Jones’ actor love interest Jerry ‘Smith’ Jerrod on the hit show, shared a video with fans revealing what he’s been up to.
“After three years, it was time,” his post was captioned, as he walked along a beach.

“Three years ago, I went quiet. Not because I had nothing to say, but because I had something to do,” he explained.
“The kind of creative work that doesn’t leave room for much else, and I made my peace with that.
“It’s the kind of work that needs to find its people, though. I’m still in it, but I am far enough along now that it felt like it was time to resurface and share what I’ve been doing. More to come.”

Despite their being a Sex and the City spinoff, called And Just Like That..., the actor never appeared in the revival.
He has appeared in show including Midnight, Texas and the film Palm Swings more recently.
In 2020, he got engaged to his producer partner Liz Goodwin.
Kim Cattrall, who plays Samantha Jones in Sex and the City, did however make a cameo in the AJLT series, but was not a regular on the show.

And Just Like That has come to an end, finishing up last year after three seasons.
It starred Sex and the City stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.
In a tribute to her character Carrie Bradshaw, Parker wrote in a tribute post as she said goodbye to her and fans: “Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all.”
