Geena Davis Tapped to Host amfAR Gala Cannes

Fresh from joining Sabrina Carpenter during the pop star’s headliner set at Coachella, Geena Davis has lined up a new night in the spotlight by joining the amfAR Gala Cannes as host.

Davis will share the stage with previously announced performers Robbie Williams, and Pink Pantheress at the iconic Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc on May 21. The glitzy fundraiser, which supports the organization’s biomedical research program, always comes at the tail end of the Cannes Film Festival.

“We could not be more excited and grateful to have Geena Davis returning to amfAR Gala Cannes after all these years, along with such a stellar cast of dynamic performers. To have such a special group of incredibly talented artists supporting our mission is truly an honor,” said amfAR CEO Kyle Clifford.

The black-tie gala will once again feature a live auction of luxury goods, rare experiences and artwork led by noted auctioneer Simon de Pury as well as a fashion show curated by longtime supporter and fashion world insider Carine Roitfeld. Confirmed designers to hit the runway are Acne Studios, Alaïa, Dolce & Gabbana men, Dolce & Gabbana women, Dsquared2, GCDS, Harris Reed, Jacquemus, Jitrois Paris, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Nina Ricci, Prada, the Attico, Tom Ford, Vivienne Westwood, Willy Chavarria and YSL.

The 2026 chairs of the gala include Pedro Almodóvar, Pamela Anderson, Patricia Arquette, Angela Bassett, Rachel Brosnahan, Olivia Colman, Sofia Carson, Emma D’Arcy, Colman Domingo, T.
