Winona Ryder Joins ‘Wednesday’ Season 3 – CelebrityKind || Positive Celebrity News | Movies TV Music Books







There’s a new face heading to Nevermore Academy! Icon Winona Ryder has been cast in the next season of hit Netflix series, Wednesday. 

The Hollywood star will join her Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice co-star and series lead, Jenna Ortega, for Season 3 which is currently in production near Dublin.

Who will Winona be playing? Well, Netflix isn’t giving away anything just yet – “our lips are stitched shut.”

But we do know Winona is one of a number of new characters. Also joining the cast will be Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan and Kennedy Moyer. They’ll be part of an already epic team which also includes Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman. Plus Eva Green has signed on as Aunt Ophelia, the long lost sister of Morticia Addams.

“It’s our dark delight to fling open Nevermore Academy’s gates once more as we begin production on Season 3,” showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar told Tudum“We thank our invincible cast and crew for their continued commitment to doom and gloom. To the fans, we appreciate your pateince and ravenous online commentary – your twisted theories have inspired nightmares.”

The next question of course is, what will Wednesday season 3 be about?

Netflix is staying tightlipped on that too but Gough and Millar did say, “This season, we welcome new students, new teachers, and excavate some long-rotting Addams Family secrets. Don’t say you weren’t warned.”
