The highly anticipated trailer for teen drama The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 is here – and it’s both heartmelting and heartbreaking!
Set to Taylor Swift’s ‘Daylight’ and ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’, we see Belly, Jeremiah, Conrad and the Cousins Beach crew reunite for another summer together. This time, Belly drops the huge news that she and Jeremiah want to get *insert dramatic gasp* married!

Who is cast in season 3?
The series will bring back stars Lola Tung as Belly, Chris Briney as Conrad, Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah, Rain Spencer as Taylor and Sean Kaufman as Steven. Jackie Chung will also reprise her role as Laurel and Rachel Blanchard will appear in flashbacks as Susannah.
This season, six new faces will join the cast too: Isabella Briggs, Kristen Connolly, Sofia Bryant, Lily Donoghue, Zoé de Grand’Maison, Emma Ishta and Tanner Zagarino.

What will happen in Season 3?
According to Prime Video, we are in for a ride – the official logline reads: “It’s the end of junior year of college, and Belly’s looking forward to another summer in Cousins with her soulmate, Jeremiah. Her future seems set until some core-shaking events bring her first love Conrad back into her life. Now on the brink of adulthood, Belly finds herself at a crossroads and must decide which brother has her heart. Summer will never be the same…”

Whether you’re a “jellyfish” or a “bonrad” fan, author Jenny Han (who also serves as showrunner), says we can expect some surprises:
“There are the things that they know and then there are things they think they know, and then there’s going to be, hopefully, things that surprise them,” Han tells Entertainment Weekly.
The relationship between Belly’s brother Steven and her bestie Taylor will also be explored further this season.
When will Season 3 be released?
The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 will be out worldwide on Prime Video on July 16. There are 11 episodes in total with one being released every week.
