Michelle sadly passed away this week, aged 39. According to authorities in New York, police responded to a 911 call on February 26 where they found her unresponsive. No cause of death has been shared and according to People, Michelle’s family has requested no autopsy be conducted.
Tributes have been flowing for Michelle since her passing, with many remembering her as vibrant, kind and lots of fun.
Former Gossip Girl co-star Blake Lively, posted beautiful words for the actor who played the manipulative and rebellious Georgina Sparks in the series:
“She was electricity. You knew when she entered a room because the vibration changed. Everything she did, she did 200%. She laughed the fullest at someone’s joke. She faced authority head on when she felt something was wrong. She cared deeply about her work. She was proud to be a part of this community and industry as painful as it could be sometimes. She was fiercely loyal to her friends and brave for those she loved. She was big and bold and distinctly herself.”
Blake’s message continued, “She was a kind person, through and through.”
Taylor Momsen, another original cast member, described her as “sassy, bold, sensitive, funny as f*** and filled with fire.”
And Chace Crawford said she was “one of a kind” with a “magnetic” personality.
