Olivia Rodrigo has released a cover of The Magnetic Fields’ 1999 song “The Book of Love”, and it’s accompanied by a powerful music video filmed by children in Gaza, Sudan, Ukraine and Yemen.

The clip shows them running through rubble playgrounds, and playing soccer, hide-and-seek and other games in debris-filled streets. They’re simply being kids despite all they’re going through.

Olivia’s version is for @warchildrecords’ new charity album , ‘Help(2)’ which also includes recordings by Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Arlo Parks and more. All proceeds raised go towards War Child’s vital work delivering immediate aid, education and specialist mental health support to children affected by conflict around the world.

‘HELP(2)’ follows the 1995 album ‘HELP’, which was released to support children affected by the war in Bosnia. That album featured Sinead O’Connor, Radiohead, Blur and others, and raised $1.9 million for charity.
