It’s the interview fans have been waiting five months for.
Nicole Kidman will officially be making her grand return to late-night television for the very first time since her high-profile divorce from singer-songwriter Keith Urban.
The Aussie star has kept a largely low profile since the news of her shock divorce first broke – however her US talk show drought will be broken today, as she steps out for a slot on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

The Moulin Rouge! star posted a sneak preview of the upcoming appearance to her Instagram story, clad in an all-black ensemble and with a plunging neckline.
The show was taped lived before a studio audience hours ago, and is set to air at 3:35pm AEDT.
Fans can expect the Aussie actress to discuss her starring role in upcoming Prime Video crime thriller series Scarpetta, in which she portrays the titular forensic pathologist Dr. Kay Scarpetta.
All eight episodes of the series, based on the popular forensic thriller novels by Patricia Cornwell, are set to drop on March 11.

Other potential talking points to cover would be Kidman’s litany of upcoming projects, including Margo’s Got Money Troubles, in which she stars alongside big names Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer, as well as her much-anticipated role reprisal in Practical Magic 2.
And of course, Aussies will be waiting with baited breath to see if Kidman will finally directly address the end of her almost 20-year union with her country star ex-husband.
The star has spoken minimally about the pain and brokenness associated with the healing process, however she has avoided going into detail up until now.
This will be Kidman’s first major in-person appearance on the show (having appeared briefly with then-husband Keith in 2016 and virtually in 2021) since her infamous viral interview with Fallon in 2015.

At the time, the pair revealed how they almost had their happily ever after together… though not quite.
“I don’t know if you remember this, but we’ve met before,” Jimmy said, to which the actress quipped, “Oh, I remember…”
Their takes on the situation slightly conflicted: Kidman liked him and perceived their first “hang” as a date, and Fallon, well, he just thought she wanted to meet him.
Kidman revealed she had a crush on the comedian: “I just remember I liked you.”
A flustered Fallon replied, “Wait what?! What?! What are you talking about?!” adding, “Did I date Nicole Kidman?! Did we go on a date?”
