Rising metal/grime artist Native James has officially announced the release of his long-awaited EP, ‘CONFESSIONS OF A SINNER’.
The project includes two previously released singles: ‘FALLEN’, which was featured on Spotify’s Misfits 2.0playlist (where Native also appeared on the cover), and received airplay on BBC Radio 1 courtesy of Alyx Holcombe, who spotlighted him as a Getting To Know You artist; and ‘GTFU’, which gained strong DSP support and landed on multiple playlists across Apple Music, Amazon, and Tidal.
Of his latest work, James says: “This EP is ups and downs, trials and tribulations; it entices the duality of oneself while taking you down a path of reflection. It’s connected with rage and all the above – a sinner and his thoughts.”
Generating more buzz ahead of the projects release, the ‘Power’ rapper shares his latest single ‘YOU’RE NOTHING’ — an emotionally charged clap-back to anybody trying to hold him down.
Describing the new track Native comments: “‘YOU’RE NOTHING‘ is about doubling down; letting the system, the perpetrator, the hater and the abuser know that they are nothing. That same rhetoric that has been implanted into the heads of many that they’re worthless, or nothing – we’re spinning it on its head making the people realise they are something, they are valued.”

Native James isn’t slowing down anytime soon — today he drops another huge announcement: his debut UK headline tour is locked in for November! Celebrating the release of ‘CONFESSIONS OF A SINNER’, the Ipswich powerhouse will set it off at The Lodge in Manchester on November 4th, before tearing through Norwich, Southampton, and Bristol, and bringing it all home with an explosive finale at London’s iconic Old Blue Last on November 12th.
