EXCLUSIVE: Strand Entertainment has signed Jeannie Mai, the Emmy Award-winning television host, producer, executive producer, and entrepreneur, for management.
Currently, Mai hosts and exec produces the Amazon cooking competition series America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation. She co-hosts CBS’s game show Raid the Cage and is additionally known for her work in live events, having served as the Los Angeles emcee for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in both 2023 and 2024. She hosted the 71st and 72nd Miss Universe competitions in New Orleans and El Salvador, respectively, and more recently led WWD’s first-ever real-time digital show at the Golden Globes. As co-host and executive producer of the nationally syndicated talk show The Real for eight seasons, Mai earned a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host and an additional Emmy for producing. Her other credits include Dancing with the Stars, ABC’s Holey Moley, and the digital series Hello Hunnay.
Named to the Gold House A100 list, honoring the most impactful Asians in culture, Mai has also been recognized for her advocacy against sex trafficking, including in the creation of the award-winning documentaries Stopping Traffic and Stopping Traffic 2, for which she earned the Pioneer Woman of the Year Award in 2019.
Mai also serves as Chief Brand Officer of the tea brand Owl’s Brew and has her own Jeannie Mai x INC collection with Macy’s. She continues to be represented by WME and Myman Greenspan Fox.
