Issac Ryan Brown Turns Up the Heat On New Single ‘Lipstick’

With the release of his latest single ‘Lipstick’, American actor and multi-hyphenate entertainer Issac Ryan Brown takes another confident step out from the shadow of his on-screen success and deeper into the spotlight as a recording artist. Known to many for his charisma and versatility in film and television, Brown is now steadily carving out a parallel identity in music – one defined not by novelty, but by intention, polish, and a clear sense of artistic direction.

Co-written with Arno Spires (Alesha Dixon), Chris Ballard (Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Rihanna) and Wayne Hector (Damage, Westlife, One Direction), ‘Lipstick’ presents as a fully fledged statement of intent. Leaning into a slick, contemporary sound, Issac showcases a growing command of his vocal style and a willingness to experiment with tone and narrative. There’s a maturity in both the production and delivery that signals an artist no longer testing the waters, but actively shaping his lane within a crowded pop and R&B landscape.

Commenting on the retro pop inspired track, Isaac says: “‘Lipstick’ is about asking your crush to leave their mark on you like a logo where everyone can see it.”

The singles accompanying visualiser doubles down on Brown’s magnetic force of personality, distilling his appeal into something immediate and impossible to ignore. Built around a deceptively simple concept, the clip thrives on execution: clean, confident, and driven entirely by presence. Set against the iconic stretch of Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, Brown transforms the everyday into a stage, commanding attention with fleet-footed choreography and an ease that feels both natural and hard-earned.

There’s no overcomplicating things here – just movement, rhythm, and charisma working in sync. Brown glides through the frame with precision and swagger, his performance anchored by an undeniable aura that carries every shot. It’s the kind of video that doesn’t need spectacle to resonate; instead, it leans on star power, and in doing so, makes a compelling case that Issac Ryan Brown isn’t just performing for the camera – he’s owning it.

Hailing from Detroit, Issac Ryan Brown’s star quality has always felt innate. He first showed it at just three years old, performing in church, and again a few years later when his rendition of The Jackson 5’s ‘I Want You Back’ won over a wider audience. Still, his path initially led elsewhere – onto screens – where he rose to prominence on Raven’s Home and appeared in hits like Black-ish and Family Guy.

Still, his path initially led elsewhere – onto screens – where he rose to prominence on Raven’s Home and appeared in hits like Black-ish and Family Guy.

But when Raven’s Home wrapped, Brown turned back to his first love: music. He soon caught the attention of Steven Machat – a veteran known for helping launch the careers of Bobby Brown, Babyface and L.A. Reid – who signed him to SSK Records.

What followed was a period of intense development: three years honing his craft alongside Arno Spires and Chris Ballard, before heading to London to refine his sound with legendary hitmaker Wayne Hector

Along the way, Brown realised his acting background wasn’t a detour – it was an asset, giving him the confidence and emotional range to express himself fully as a singer. Now, Issac is taking his music to the world…
