Cruz Beckham announces North American tour

The 21-year-old musician – whose parents are retired soccer star Sir David Beckham and fashion designer Victoria Beckham – is set to embark on his first American tour with his band The Breakers, following a successful run of shows in the UK and Europe.

He posted a video on Instagram saying: “Hello fellow Breakers. We are very happy and proud to announce the second leg of the For Your Love tour.

“We’re coming to America and Canada. We’re excited to see you there so get your tickets now.”

The tour will kick off in Washington DC on July 28 before dates in Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis and Seattle.

Gigs have also been announced in Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

David recently shared how proud he is of Cruz for following in Spice Girls star Victoria’s musical footsteps.

Speaking on talkSPORT Drive with Andy Goldstein and Darren Bent, he said: “Cruz has been working on his music since he was about eight or nine years old.

“And he’s all of a sudden got a band together. He’s released an album. It’s Cruz Beckham And The Breakers. They’re doing incredibly well. They’re traveling around the UK.

“They were in Bristol. They were in Brighton. They were in Birmingham. They were in Paris, Amsterdam.

So they’re going around Europe and now they’re back in London for three shows. I’m very proud of him because he’s worked really hard. So good stuff.”

Cruz released his new single For Your Love last month – a romantic track produced by Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov. The song, described as having an indie-anthemic sound, features his band, The Breakers, and includes a cameo from his grandfather in the music video.

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Cruz is hoping for a reconciliation with his estranged brother Brooklyn Beckham.

Brooklyn, 27, has fallen out with his famous parents – Sir David Beckham and Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham – with the aspiring chef slamming the couple in a devastating social media post in which he accused them of ruining his wedding to Nicola Peltz in 2022 and the family feud has also led to a rift with his brothers Cruz, 21, and Romeo, 23, and sister Harper, 14.

However, Cruz has insisted he’s open to making up with his elder brother. In video footage published by TMZ.com, Cruz was asked if he had any well wishes for Brooklyn, who turned 27 earlier this month, he replied: “Happy birthday’.

When asked if the brothers will be able to repair their relationship, Cruz replied: “I hope so”.

It comes after Cruz seemingly broke his brother’s request for no social media contact with his family by sharing a birthday message on Instagram, posting a throwback snap and writing: “I love you.”

David and Victoria also shared birthday messages publicly along with Romeo.

However, Brooklyn was said to have been infuriated by the posts. A source told Entertainment Tonight: “Brooklyn and [his wife Nicola Peltz] are disheartened they chose to make public Instagram posts for his birthday.

“These are the exact type of performative public actions that Brooklyn has been trying to put an end to, to no avail.”
