Our favourite dating queen, Amelia Dimoldenberg, is heading to the big screen!
The popular social media creator, best known for her awkward (and hilarious) encounters with celebrities in Chicken Shop Date is set to both star in and produce a rom-com. According to Variety, the project will be about an interviewer who meets a celebrity that makes her question everything she knows about love.
I mean, could she be any more perfect for the role?
Confirming the news on Instagram, Amelia wrote “a dream come true 🙂 so excited to be developing my very own movie.”

Sarah Heyward who previously worked on Girls and Nobody Wants This will be writing the script.
Amelia has over 10 million fans across her various platforms and has landed some major gigs including being a red carpet correspondent at the Oscars, and directing a music video for Maisie Peters.
In 2025, she took part in Together For Palestine, a benefit concert at Wembley stadium. The event, organised by British musician Brian Eno with Gazan painter Malak Mattar and UK charity Choose Love, raised close to £1.5 million for organisations providing humanitarian support and medical care for injured children, amputees, orphans and families most in need in Gaza.
