From ecstasy to agony for Liverpool and Alexander Isak.

Isak was threaded through and scored a great left-footed goal to give Liverpool a 1-0 lead on Saturday evening at Tottenham Hotspur.
But on the goal, Isak’s left leg was slid into by Spurs defender Mickey van de Ven, who was just trying to block the shot.
Isak was in immediate pain. He had no intention of celebrating the goal.
Trainers came out on the field and attended to him. Isak put his face into his shirt.
It clearly looked like a bad one.
Isak refused the stretcher that was brought on. He walked off with his arms wrapped around two trainers, barely putting weight on his left leg.
Isak hasn’t been entirely as advertised for Liverpool, but this was a terrible moment regardless.

Liverpool had already subbed off Hugo Ekiteke at halftime, so they’d need to figure out striker the rest of the way after subbing him off following the goal.
But their bigger concern will be long-term for Isak. What will the rest of his season look like after what looked to be a serious knee injury?
