Harry Styles celebrates Official Chart double

Pop superstar Harry Styles has claimed his second Official Chart Double – topping the UK Singles and Albums chart simultaneously.

His fourth studio album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. has gone straight to number one, becoming Harry’s third solo number one album in the UK. Selling in excess of 183,000 copies over seven days according to Official Charts Company data, this marks Harry’s highest first week sales, beating the 113,000 copies of 2022 release Harry’s House.

The album topped the Official Vinyl Albums Chart with over 66,000 sleeves sold, marking the biggest opening week on vinyl of Harry’s career. He also earns the biggest first week vinyl album sales figure for a UK artist this century, surpassing Sam Fender’s People Watching (42,769 vinyl sales). If that wasn’t enough, Harry has also claimed the biggest opening week for a male solo artist in almost a decade, breaking the previous record held by Ed Sheeran’s ÷ (Divide).

Harry also tops this week’s UK Singles Chart with new single ‘American Girls’. This is Harry’s fourth solo number one single following debut single ‘Sign of the Times’, ‘As It Was’, and KISSCO lead single ‘Aperture’. He also takes two additional spots in this week’s top five with ‘Aperture’ at number 4 and ‘Ready. Steady, Go!’ at number five.

This is Harry’s second time achieving the coveted Official Chart Double. He first earned this feat in 2022 when his single ‘As It Was’ topped the charts at the same time as his album Harry’s House.
