As she continues to carve out her own path and take full control of her narrative, Natasha Hamilton has announced her forthcoming EP ‘Extraction’, alongside the release of her latest single, ‘Fantasy’.
Set to be released Friday, June 19th 2026 via Hamilton’s own independent imprint, Morpho Records, the highly anticipated EP is poised to capture Hamilton’s evolution from global pop star to fully fledged artist-executive. Drawing on more than two decades in the industry, the ‘Edge of Us’ singer is building this chapter of her music from the ground up – placing creative ownership, long-term vision, and artist-led development firmly at the centre.
Serving as the follow-up to 2025’s ‘Numb’, the project’s latest single, ‘Fantasy’, captures that creative shift in motion. Unfolding as an atmospheric pop record shaped by a sense of “tension and release,” the track lingers in the space between collapse and breakthrough. It explores the moment when everything feels off balance – and the decision not to fall apart, but to realign. Intimate yet quietly powerful, the song signals an artist moving forward with renewed clarity and control.
Commenting on the song, Natasha says: “At its heart, ‘Fantasy’ is about connection – not just to someone else, but to yourself. ‘To get back to you’ is about realignment. It’s about choosing strength when things feel uncertain. This isn’t about returning to who I was. It’s about stepping fully into who I am now.”
