Skai Jackson is enjoying every bit of motherhood.
During a recent conversation with JoeyLive, the actress reflected on life with her son Kasai, who just celebrated his first birthday.
“It’s going really well,” she said. “My son, he just turned one, so time’s going by really fast, but he’s changing every day, and he’s just so cute, and I just love being his mom.”
Jackson says not much about her day-to-day life has changed since welcoming her baby boy.
“No, nothing. I mean, just the fact that I have a person to take care of, but he’s such a good baby,” she said.
In fact, Kasai pretty much tags along wherever she goes.
“Like, he comes with me everywhere. It doesn’t matter if it’s the nail salon, the hair shop, he’s there. It’s just nothing changed. It’s just a perfect addition to my life.”

As for baby number two? Jackson says that’s not on her radar right now.
“Not anytime soon. No. Give me a minute,” she said. “No. I’m still super young. I’m only 23, so I feel like I have a lot of time. If I do have another one, it won’t be until like I’m 30.”
For now, she’s enjoying watching Kasai discover new things.
“His favorite thing is balls. He loves balls,” Jackson said. “He loves to roll balls and throw them. He throws anything around. Loves Miss Rachel. We love her. And he’s a foodie. He loves food.”
Jackson welcomed Kasai in January 2025 with her former boyfriend, Deondre Burgin.
She later introduced him publicly when she shared the first photos of him at six months old.
“Kasai 💙 6 months,” she wrote on Instagram on July 18 alongside photos of the infant wearing blue-and-white OshKosh striped overalls.
