Early Monday morning, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced that after Sunday’s win over the Baltimore Ravens, wide receiver DK Metcalf spent the night in a Baltimore hospital. Metcalf was complaining of stomach pains after the game from a big hit and so he was kept overnight for testing and observation. According to the team, he is set to return to Pittsburgh today.
Metcalf had a huge game on Sunday, finishing with seven receptions for 148 yards on 12 targets. The Steelers kicked off the game with a bomb to Metcalf, which marked his 15th career reception over 50 yards. This ties him for the league best since he came into the league.
The win improves the Steelers record to 7-6 and puts them back into the lead in the AFC North. Pittsburgh now gets an extra day off before their Monday Night Football showdown against the Miami Dolphins. Pittsburgh wraps up the regular season with the Ravens in Pittsburgh in the season finale.
