Beau Ryan’s plans to keep Kyle Sandilands’ wedding details under wraps were thwarted by his then-nine-year-old daughter in a hilarious mishap, the host has revealed.
Ryan, who hosts Triple M’s breakfast show alongside Aaron Woods and Cat Lynch, recounted the moment he realised daughter Remi had sold the private wedding invitation of his fellow radio host at a family garage sale.
“Halfway through it, I went out and there was one thing for sale in the $5 section, but it was just, like, an empty case,” Ryan recalled.
“I realised it’s Kyle Sandilands’ wedding invite. The outside case was still there, but the inside, which had all the details, had been sold.”
The coveted invite to Sandilands and Tegan Kynaston’s $1 million Darling Point wedding included specific information about the time and location of the exclusive event.
The ex-NRL player was quick to round on his daughter, immediately interrogating her about where the invitation had gotten to.
“I said, ‘Who’s got it? Who? What did he look like?’ and she goes, ‘Oh, it was a man with a hat, but it could have been a woman’.”

The host and television personality confirmed a neighbour bought the wedding invitation, with Ryan having to track him down using CCTV footage.
“I can only follow him to where my cameras go, which is about two or three houses down. Then go to the neighbour, to the next neighbour, end up finding where he lives.”
Then, in a decidedly awkward encounter, Ryan found himself knocking on the neighbour’s door to sheepishly ask for the invitation to Sandilands’ high-profile 2023 wedding back.
“He was actually pretty good about it. And I said, ‘Look, you know, obviously keep it between us, because that wedding is super confidential information’.”

Sandilands, who hosts the show Kyle and Jackie O alongside Jackie O on KIIS 1065, wed Tegan Kynaston at Swifts – a $60 million heritage-listed Gothic Revival mansion at Sydney’s Darling Point.
The pair initially denied being involved, but made it Instagram-official when Kynaston shared a photo of herself kissing Sandilands on the cheek on New Year’s Eve 2019.
In January 2022, Sandilands proposed to Kynaston during their luxury holiday to Port Douglas. Weeks later, they announced they were expecting their first baby together.
“I’m having a baby!” he said on The Kyle & Jackie O Show while confirming the baby’s due date of August 2023.
