There’s no beef between Gwyneth Paltrow and Meghan Sussex, despite what the tabloids may tell you!
Ever since Meghan released her lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan and her brand ‘As Ever’, the headlines have been pitting the two women – both creative and both successful – against each other. But they’re not having a bar of it.
In an Instagram story, Gwyneth answered a bunch of questions from her followers including one which read, “Are you comprehending the Meghan Markle beef that social media says you two have?”
The video showed Gwyneth saying “I genuinely do not understand this at all, whatsoever.” She then stops and asks someone to her right “Do you understand this?” That’s where Meghan appears, sitting at a kitchen table with Gwyneth, eating some pie. She shrugs her shoulders as if to say she also has no idea what’s going on.

Gwyneth, who is behind the lifestyle empire Goop, has already addressed her relationship with Meghan. During a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the actor said, “I don’t know Meghan and Harry. I mean, I’ve met Meghan, who seems really lovely, but I don’t know her at all. Maybe I’ll try to get through their security detail and bring them a pie.”
She added that she welcomes Meghan to the lifestyle space: “I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes. I think there’s always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try.”
Gwyneth explained that it was her famous mother, Blythe Danner, who taught her the valuable lesson – “Another woman is never your competition” and “what is right for you will find you.”
So that’s that.
Now, here’s hoping we get the recipe for whatever it is that Meghan’s eating in that video (is it pie? And is it pie from Gwyneth?) in the next season of With Love, Meghan!
