Louise Announces First-Ever Vinyl Release of ‘Naked’ for 30th Anniversary

Louise is celebrating a major milestone in her solo career with the first-ever vinyl release of her debut album, ‘Naked’, marking its 30th anniversary.

Originally released in 1996 following her departure from Eternal‘Naked’ established Louise as a solo star, reaching No. 7 on the Official UK Albums Chart and earning Platinum certification. The record spawned five UK Top 20 singles, including ‘Light of My Life’, ‘In Walked Love’, the Top Five title track ‘Naked’, ‘Undivided Love’, and ‘One Kiss from Heaven’.

The anniversary edition arrives Friday, 16th October 2026 as a limited pink vinyl housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve. The release preserves the album’s original 14-track sequence and marks the first time the record has been made available on vinyl, offering fans a long-awaited physical edition of one of British pop’s defining releases of the mid-’90s.

Louise announced the reissue on social media, describing the project as a celebration of an album that helped launch her solo career. Fans who pre-order through participating retailers will also have the opportunity to receive a signed art card while supplies last.

“30 years… can you believe it?!” the ‘Arms Around The World’ singer said in a statement. “I’m so excited to finally share that my debut solo album ‘Naked’ is being released on vinyl for the very first time to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026.”

‘Naked’ was such a special moment in my life and career, and I’m incredibly grateful that so many of you have continued to love these songs over the years. To celebrate, we’ve created a beautiful limited-edition pink vinyl package featuring the original album, a deluxe gatefold sleeve, lyrics, iconic photos from the original shoot, plus a brand-new 12-page photo booklet filled with classic and previously unseen images that I’ve personally selected.”

“This album holds so many amazing memories, and I can’t wait for you to experience it in this special format. I’ll also be celebrating with you all on The Naked Confessions Tour next year – I can’t wait to see you there. Thank you for all your love and support over the last 30 years. This one is for you.”

Released at the height of Britpop, ‘Naked’ showcased a polished blend of contemporary R&B and mainstream pop, helping Louise carve out an identity beyond her success with Eternal. The LP’s lead single ‘Light of My Life’, along with the sultry title track became staples of UK pop radio, cementing her place among Britain’s biggest female pop artists of the era.

The reissue arrives amid a renewed chapter for the singer. Following the release of her fifth studio album, ‘Confessions’, in 2025, Louise is set to embark on the Naked // Confessions UK Tour in 2027, pairing songs from her latest record with material from the album that launched her solo career three decades earlier.

For fans who have waited years to add ‘Naked’ to their vinyl collection, the anniversary edition offers a fitting tribute to an album that remains a cornerstone of ’90s British pop.
