Last night (June 13), global superstar Harry Styles kicked off the London leg of his Together, Together residency, with the first of 12 nights at Wembley Stadium.
His record-breaking landmark Wembley run marks the most performances by any artist at the iconic venue in a single year, surpassing the likes of Coldplay and Taylor Swift.
Harry kicked off the first night in style, with support from country icon Shania Twain. After Shania performed a hit-filled setlist, it was time for Harry to take to the stage for a two-hour extravaganza. The show included songs from his entire four-album solo discography, including surprise song ‘Little Freak’.
He also paid homage to his One Direction days by reminiscing about his audition at neighbouring venue Wembley Arena 16 years ago, followed by a strings section which featured arrangements of ‘Night Changes’ and ‘History’.
A key theme of the tour is togetherness and community, and that can be seen from the plethora of fans dressing up in sequins and office wear (channeling Harry’s varied fashion eras). Fans are also encouraged to dance the night away, especially across the several floor sections within the stadium.
