Pop sensation Alex Warren has announced that his sophomore album Wildchild will be released on August 28.
The ‘Fever Dream’ singer has been teasing an announcement on social media over the past few days, and in true Alex style, released a chaotic video to share his highly anticipated news. The clip sees Alex filming a promo to announce the album, but between getting covered in paint, being suspended in mid air, and exploding confetti cannons, everything gets a little too wild.
The final scene shows the album cover and release date, accompanied by new song ‘Passenger’ which is due for release this Friday. The news was also shared at a number of pop ups which took place across the world today including LA and London, with fans in London also getting a sneak peak at the upcoming music video for the track.
WIldchild is the second album from Alex Warren, and looks set to include ‘Fever Dream’, recent single ‘Fine Place to Die’, and ‘Passenger’. It follows on from his number one debut You’ll Be Alright, Kid, which featured the global phenomenon ‘Ordinary’ as well as smash hits ‘Eternity’, ‘Carry You Home’, and ‘Bloodline’.
Alex is currently on the North American leg of his Finding Family on the Road tour, following a successful European leg which included two sold out nights at London’s The O2 Arena.
