Javier Bardem’s kids are not spellbound by their dad’s work.
In fact, the Oscar winner revealed that his and wife Penelope Cruz‘s children Leo, 15, and Luna, 12, have shown very little interest in watching any of his films.
“They haven’t seen any movies of mine,” Javier exclusively shared with E! News’ Will Marfuggi during a joint interview with Cape Fear costars Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson. “They’ve seen all of my wife’s.”
Still, the 57-year-old has made them watch one of his films, 2007’s No Country for Old Men in which he starred as psychotic hitman Anton Chigurh. But, he did so for a very specific reason.
“When I ask them to leave the phones or the computers and they don’t really listen, I strap them on the chair and I put on No Country for Old Men,” he laughed. “Then they drop the phones.”
As for Patrick and Amy? Their children have varying levels of interest when it comes to their parents’ acting careers.
