We got a taste of aspiring actress Allie Hayes and college charmer Dean De Laurentis’ story in Off Campus season one, and now it’s been confirmed the fan-favourite couple will be the focus of season two! *ridiculously excited squeal*
Based on the books by Elle Kennedy, the Prime Video series has opted to switch up its order of operations – the second book in the series is actually about John Logan and his love interest, Grace Ivers. But given that none of us – and I really mean none of us – could get enough of Allie and Dean in season one, it looks like the creators are giving us exactly what we want.
So, what do we know so far?
Well, actors Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn who portray Allie and Dean, aren’t saying much. In fact, time and time again, when they’ve been asked during interviews about whether they’d be leading the series in season two, they kinda just denied it. Hilarious, now that we know it was all part of a master plan to throw us off!
We also know that Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham played by Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli, who were the focus of season one, will continue their story in season two. And that Justin Kohl, played by Aussie actor Josh Heuston, won’t be returning for now although he may return in future seasons.
Now the only question that remains is, when will Off Campus season two be released?
Creator and showrunner Louisa Levy has previously said filming would begin as soon as the cast’s three-week press tour for season one finished. Which, if my calculations are correct, is right about now…
So the good news is, we won’t have to wait Bridgerton-lengths of time for the next season. The bad news is, we don’t have an exact date yet… stay tuned!
