Everything We Know So Far

Prime Video’s Off Campus received a season 2 renewal before its first season even launched, and the central couple is poised to take the torch from Hannah Wells (Ella Bright) and Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli).

If anything, Season 2 has a high bar to live up to with singer songwriter Remi Wolf appearing in Season 1 as one example of the loaded soundtrack. In terms of needle drops, there could likely be more showtunes since the second season will likely focus on theatre.

Who is the central couple of Off Campus Season 2?

Prime Video confirmed two weeks after the first season launched that Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn would be taking center stage in Season 2 as Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis. Will Hannah and Garrett be back in Season 2 of Off Campus?

Yes, the couple from Elle Kennedy’s first book, The Deal will continue to feature in Season 2, living out their happily ever after.

“We love the couples, so there is a passing of the baton that happens, but we also don’t want Hannah and Garrett to ride off into the sunset and disappear from the landscape of our show,” showrunner Louisa Levy told Deadline. “They are still very much present in season two, and are a big part of the community of characters that we’re building on the show.”

Will Josh Heuston’s Justin Kohl be back in Off Campus Season 2?

Unfortunately, Josh Heuston won’t be back for season 2 as Justin Kohl, which Levy confirmed to TV Guide.

In Elle Kennedy’s books, Justin ends up romantically involved with a girl named Stella, a friend of Allie’s in The Score. Eagle-eyed viewers spotted a penant with the name Stella emblazoned on it on the door across the hall from Allie and Hannah’s dorm room when Sean (Riley Davis) stops by to try and win her back.

“I love Josh and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point. We never got a chance to meet Stella, who is the person he ends up with in the book,” she said. “So maybe we’ll find a way to fold him into a future season. We don’t have him [available] next season, but never say never.”

Heuston told Deadline that he had fun filming the show, seeming open to a return later down the line.

Will there be new characters in Season 2 of Off Campus?

Yes, before Season 1 launched, Deadline broke the news of two major castings for Season 2 of the series: Philippa Soo as Scarlett, a theatre artist guest directing an original play in Briar U’s drama department, and India Fowler as Grace Ivers — love interest of Antonio Cipriano’s John Logan.

Will there be more seasons of Off Campus?

No official renewal or greenlight have been served yet for a third season, but the idea is that each of the core four Briar U hockey teammates will get their love story in future seasons, with potential for more Briar U book characters to be pulled in as well, like Charlie Evans’ Hunter Davenport, for example. Hunter, who was first introduced as Carter St. James V, proved a major dark horse character in Season 1 and a big twist for Dean and Allie’s love story.

With Grace set to appear in Season 2, it seems Logan’s love story could unfold in Season 3, and she was even name-dropped in Season 1 at the auction at Malone’s.
