Spolier alert: Contains spoilers for Euphoria’s season three penultimate episode.
Jacob Elordi has spoken out on the gruesome death of his character Nate Jacobs on Euphoria season three.
While fans are left in shock over his character’s ending, the Aussie actor, 28, has shared some surprising comments on the way his character died.
In the show, Nate Jacobs dies in a coffin as a rattlesnake crawls in through a small hole; and to film the scene, Elordi actually filmed with a real snake (but not a venomous rattlesnake).
While that might scare some, that didn’t deter the actor, who hails from Brisbane.
“That’s a cool way to go,” he shared in a behind the scenes clip shared by HBO on YouTube.
“I had to go into this coffin. My shoulders were touching the side, and I couldn’t move my arms, and then they would drill the lid on, and it would get dark,” he said.

“It was really nice, actually. It was quite peaceful in there,” he added.
He said the snake was actually a boa constrictor which they put a rattle snake tail on.
“He was super cute. He was, like, real cuddly, so he just saddled up next to me, and it was nice,” Elordi remarked.
“But he was real sleepy… I had to kind of nudge him to get him to come up.”
Elordi has been on the hit show, which also stars the likes of Zendaya, Hunter Schafer and Sydney Sweeney, since season one back in 2019.
Season three is the final season of the hit show.
The show sure helped put him on the map in Hollywood, as around the same time he starred in the rom-com film series, The Kissing Booth.
More recently, Elordi’s worked his way to A-lister status thanks to films including Frankenstein, Priscilla and Wuthering Heights, which he starred in opposite Aussie star Margot Robbie.
He’s recently been linked to American model Kendall Jenner, with the pair now believed to be dating.
