The 2026 French Open is officially underway – however there’s one style-savvy regular who’ll likely be notably absent from the stands this year.
American influencer Morgan Riddle, 28, was a frequent fixture across her tennis star boyfriend Taylor Fritz’ competition circuit, winning a fanbase of her own with her courtside style and social media presence.
But Riddle has been markedly missing from Roland Garros this time around, following the pair’s very public breakup last month.
Riddle and Fritz called it quits in late April, after over six years of dating. The influencer alluded to the news by posting a photo of herself in a baby tee that pointedly read “World’s Best Ex-Girlfriend.”
Fritz subsequently went into the French Open as a single man – but was later eliminated in an upset first-round defeat.
The seventh-seeded American was shockingly ousted from the competition by his 148th-ranked compatriot, Nishesh Basavareddy, who took out the win in four sets.
Much of Riddle’s content over the past six years had been centred around the sport, including one video in particular detailing how to make tennis “cool” again.

The video drew backlash from tennis enthusiasts at the time, however Fritz was quick to come to his then-girlfriend’s defence.
“I think what she did was awesome for our sport. It got a ton of people looking at it. I think you get your typical older fan who may be upset about it,” the athlete said.
He went on to say he “didn’t understand” the backlash she’d received.
“I’m the one that’s a professional tennis player, I’m the one that does this for a living. I 100 per cent agree with everything in that video.”
Riddle’s most recent social media post prior to her ex’s elimination from the titular tennis comp drew the attention of fans.
In the cover photo of a video posted to her Instagram, Riddle was shown standing over the phrase “a little obsessed, a little in love,” written in chalk on the concrete.
She also previously shared a picture of stacks of boxes in an empty apartment, and a number of quotes seeming to do with breaking up and moving on.
Riddle is widely regarded as having “redefined” courtside style, blending preppy, country-club elegance and high-fashion elements.
